Starting Fall semester '20, I will be a graduate student in the Computer Science department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I completed my undergraduate degree at Elizabethtown College in South Central Pennsylvania, majoring in Computer Engineering. In terms of research, I am broadly interested in data science and machine learning, and their intersections with different domains. My past research has explored their application in Networking and Security, applying machine learning to encrypted traffic analytics, and methods for its acceleration on edge networks.
Outside of academics, I enjoy staying in physical shape (running, lifting, yoga, recreational athletics), and mental shape by reading books on a variety of topics. I am a passionate Python programmer and learner in general, and enjoy sharing my experience in improving both skills with other people. While at Elizabethtown, I was also fortunate enough to compete in four years of baseball at the Division III level, where I was recognized for academic and athletic achievement at both regional and national levels. For deeper digressions, check out my etc.
